1. CREATE A SPACE TO RELAX IN THE GARDEN

It is really important to find a spot in your garden to enjoy the beauty and serenity it brings.  Ignore the tired, stressful minutes in the office  and bad emotions in the house, take time just to look at the flowers in the garden.

Standing in a garden will make you uncomfortable, while sitting or lying down you will find it more comfortable and gentle than any other time.  It gives you space and generates new ideas for you.

This idea comes from ancient medicine, which views the garden as a healthy environment.  When you are sick or upset, you can smell the soothing aromas of herbs that bring you to a better mood.

Best to do this at dusk – the time when the gardens are at their hottest and most fragrant.

Nowadays. We don’t take the time to enjoy these peaceful moments – our lives are focused on the busyness of the screens of computers and smartphones.

Instead, you will feel magical if you lie on the grass (on a dry day), look up through the trees and watch the clouds pass.  It’s a form of meditation – it slows you down and helps you relax, allowing the healing process to begin.

2. GROWING BEES AND BUTTERFLIES

By incorporating planting that encourages wildlife, your garden will become a nest of butterflies and active bees. The best herb varieties to encourage bees, butterflies are those from floral or aromatic species such as lavender, mint, rosemary, thyme and sage.

3. GROW SOMETHING TO SET ON THE KITCHEN TABLE

There is nothing more enjoyable than cultivating food production in your garden.  This can be as simple as growing a salad plant to enjoy with loved ones.  Sharing something at the table that you’ve grown is an especially rewarding experience, and if you eat something you’ve just harvested, the taste is at its best.

4. STARTING FROM SEEDS

Growing from seed is something that can be done on your own or as a great way for kids to join in the fun of gardening.  What you get is time to observe the natural world. How happy you will be when you see a seed that grows and can be used in your meals.  In today’s modern world we have too little time to observe the world.

5. DEVELOPMENT OF HERBALS, FLAVORING

If you have a small garden, air is a must and growing herbs is a guarantee of a soothing atmosphere.  You can use them in the kitchen, they give your garden fragrance and color and are an attractive source of bees and butterflies. In addition, they also help repel insects such as mosquitoes. Mint is a plant that repels mosquitoes and mice.

You can also eat herbs that are often used to make drinks. It’s great to live a natural life.  Then, when the flowers are ready to be seeded, you can use them in cooking or in tea.  It is also a medicine for common ailments such as flu, bleeding, cough, cold.
